About

Hello, dear reader, and welcome to Ways of Remembrance. My name is Jacquelyn Healy and I've created this space for the purpose of recording my spiritual journey. I hope it can be of some service to you as well.

In case you are curious, here is a bit about me:

I am a Christian--a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The simplicity and beauty of Jesus Christ's pure gospel astounds me.  By the power of the Holy Ghost, I know He is the way, the truth and the light.

Five years ago I married a happy, humble man with red hair and a golden heart. His sturdy faith calms me in turbulence and teaches me the ways of grace. Together we have two little kids, James and Meg. I love them with a tenderness that aches and shines.

Before this life of marriage and motherhood, I served as a missionary in Paris, France. That experience changed my dreams and the desires of my heart.

It also sparked new interests and made me ask new questions. So much of the art at the Louvre compelled me to wonder about how religion has shaped history. When I went home I decided to earn a bachelor's degree in art history at BYU. I graduated the Summer of 2013.

Right now I am beginning to write historical fiction about women and spirituality that is informed by art--which will be the work of a lifetime really.

Thank you for being here and feel free to contact me with any questions or thoughts.

Best regards,

Jacque
